Do you sometimes find yourself being pulled over with your windsurfing mast while windsurfing, causing the mast to hit the windsurf board? There is a solution for that! There are several ways to protect your windsurf board from damage.

Tips to protect your windsurfboard

  1. Tip 1: Make use of a 'nose protector'. Stick the nose protector on the nose of your windsurfboard and put something heavy on it overnight. This will ensure that the nose protector sticks well afterwards! A nose protector ensures that the nose of your windsurfboard is protected if your mast falls on the nose, for example.
  2. Tip 2: Make use of a board protector. Using a board protector prevents scratches and damage to your board. When you drop your windsurfing sail, this protector will ensure that your sail does not hit the nose of your board with the full impact.
  3. Tip 3: Try not to slide your mast foot over your windsurfboard, as this will cause damage. Make sure you place the baseplate right away.
