Duotone Platinum SDM 100
The Duotone windsurf masts are tested and tuned by Duotone pro riders. Testing and tuning is done to the extent so that every windsurf can get on the water satisfied! Duotone is constantly optimizing the windsurf masts. Duotone has undergone major changes in the windsurfing world, from cambers to 3D profiles. Because of this they have a lot of knowledge when it comes down to windsurfing, so they can develop the ideal mast for you!
Duotone offers different types of masts, from carbon percentages to dimensions. So a wide range for everyone. When choosing the right mast, it is important to look at which brand of sail you use. Each brand uses its own curve. Duotone uses constant-curve masts. The most strandard mast is the SDM with a carbon percentage of 40%. The carbon percentage can have a lot of influence on your performance. The more carbon, the lighter your sail feels and the better the performance of your sail will be. Are you sailing with a sail smaller than 5.0 or are you freestyling / wave windsurfing, then look at an RDM mast. Are you planning to go freeriding, freeracing or slalom windsurfing? Then the SDM mast is the best option.
The carbon percentage can have a lot of influence on your performance, the disadvantage is that a mast with more carbon is often more expensive than the mast with less carbon. You need to make a choice yourself.
