Freeride windsurfing sail

Looking for a freeride sailthat masters almost every aspect of windsurfing? Then check out the Hybrid from Gaastra.

This sail from Gaastra is actually suitable for a lot of windsurfers who are on the freeride/waveride spectrum.
The smaller sizes the 3.7 to 4.7 are more wave related. These sails have 4 battens and have a very high-cut luff which gives it very many characteristics of a wave sail. TheX-ply window adds strength and durability. The sizes above 4.7 are more freeride-oriented. From 5.2 to 6.4, the Hybrid transitions to a 5-bar bump and jump profile, for high speed, stability and power in the sail. These middle sizes are the perfect choice for when conditions become a little less stable.

Glass fibre and tubular battens in the middle of the sail provide the perfect profile for stability and performance. In the largest sizes from 6.7 to 8.2, the full freeride profile of 6 slats offers the fastest combination. A combination of tube slats and the full profile maximise freeride power for early and fast planing, even on days when the wind is not so strong.

The Hybrid is excellent to combine with one of the Unifiber Constant FL Curve masts.
