Monty Spindler is the founder of 'De Loft', as a young American he started sailing and soon belonged to the top. Later he started windsurfing and this is where his love for the sport started. Spindleer started his own design brand in 1990 and in 1999 the brand 'The Loft' was born. The American Windsurfer magazine was the first to test on Maui windsurf sails from The Loftsails. In 2015 the name changed to 'The Loftsails'. Loftsails has a worldwide distribution and has been tested in most major windsurfing magazines. In addition, they are actually impossible to imagine in any windsurf shop.
