The Sonar 55cm AK mast is a foil mast widely used by the novice foiler or where the water is flat.
The aluminium mast section with optimised stiffness-to-weight ratio of North is ideal for kitesurfing. The forgiving AK 55cm mast is suitable for skimming just above the water and easy to recover - ideal for learning to foil or for shallow water. The AK 70cm mast is ideal for learning kitesurfing and freeride foiling in shallow or flat water. The AK 85cm mast increases overall riding performance in jerky conditions for a more controlled ride at high speed. Equipped with GeoLock. AK masts are only compatible with the AK board adapter. AK-masts are NOT compatible with the AF-foil adapter, which is designed for use with higher-load AF-foil masts.
