SEVERNE TURBO GT
FREERIDE
The Turbo GT uses cams to improve the stability of the foil and sets a pre-set profile for power and drive in wind gusts and lulls. All cams are located below the boom to lock the power zone very low in the sail, where it is easiest to control. Swing weight is also improved by lowering all hardware and allowing the upper parts to flex freely.
The Turbo GT can be used on RDM or SDM masts. Incredible rotation is the advantage of the RDM mast and increased stability is the advantage of an SDM mast. Both options deliver blazing speed, early planing and an ultra-light feel. For 2019, significant gains were made in speed and stability; AERO-LINE battens and Mach1 twist patterns dramatically improve aerodynamics for a faster sail. Increased skin tension slat skeleton improves stability and increases wind range. The 019 Turbo GT delivers cam performance.
