Looking for a foil that is just a step more challenging than the beginner foils? Then you've come to the right place with the Foil Freeride Plus from Starboard.

The Foil freeride is a foil very suitable for people who have mastered the beginning steps of foiling well and want to take their level to the next level. The size of the blades is smaller than on, say, a beginner's foil. The frontwing is a full carbon 1100 cm2 freeride wing. It gives a lot more lift than, for example, a race wing, but is a lot harder to sail than the big beginner wings. It gives enough lift to get out of the water quickly and stay stable on your foil. The backwing is a 500 cm2 and therefore falls under medium size. Because the ends of the backwing are raised, this foil will pass through gybes very easily. The fuselage of the Foil Freeride Plus is 950mm long and provides a comfortable ride. The mast is 850mm long and comes with a deep tuttle joint.
