Slalom board
Looking for a speed demon for all your slalom sessions? Then the Starboard Isonic is definitely not a wrong choice! The Isonic already has several PWA titles to its name thanks to its excellent performance. Do note that this board is very technical and therefore not suitable for novice windsurfers, similar to a Manta and Falcon.
For 2021, Starboard has expanded the Isonic collection with 4 new sizes: the 63, 72, 77 and 83. If you're not yet sure which one is right for you and/or what conditions? Then read on! The 63 is the 2021 high wind model and delivers comfort and control in extremely strong winds. The 72 is a favourite among PWA champions, as the board delivers the right acceleration, speed and comfort in many conditions. With its enlarged V, the 77 sails slightly more on the fin, delivering extreme acceleration and speed. The 83 is THE board for extreme chop, but it also accelerates like crazy in gusty winds.
The Carbon Sandwich construction is very light, affordable and made of environmentally friendly materials. Compared to the Carbon Reflex Sandwich, the board is slightly heavier but the difference is marginal.
