The Starboard Lima paddle has a concavity at the front of the blade, allowing water to pass through the blade and increasing the flow rate through this concavity. The edge that defines the concave starts round at the tip of the blade to smoothly separate the water. It then becomes sharper to dictate the water's path and stabilise the blade.
In addition, the Starboard Lima paddle has a unique narrow and flat profile, allowing you to pull the blade very close to the edge of the board's rail. This creates a very nice line. S35 is very popular among taller paddlers. The diameter of the paddle is 26mm. This is the lightest and most versatile paddle from Starboard.
