Buy windsurf baseplates

A baseplates, also called a windsurf mast foot, connect your windsurf board to the extender and are therefore essential. They need to be placed in the slot in the middle of your board and tightened until it is secure. The mast foot can be placed in different positions. As a general rule of thumb, the following applies: Can't get away or in plan? Then move the baseplate further back. Is your board hard to control? Move the base further forward. It's a trial-and-error process that has to be gone through often. The more you do this, the easier it gets.
