This kite was created from the most powerful elements of the R1 race generation and the Chrono platform, but then completely retuned to be much more accessible, versatile and robust in practice. The result is a foil kite that delivers tremendous elevator, speed and efficiency, yet remains intuitive enough to sail with confidence during every session.

Great attention has been paid in the design to a balanced combination of maximum performance and everyday ease of use. The Ozone Mach1 has a distinct high-aspect-ratio profile that provides extreme efficiency, high top speeds and impressive hangtime. At the same time, the kite has been re-profiled to make steering more predictable, power delivery linear and depower range large and reliable. As a result, the Mach1 feels surprisingly natural for experienced tubekite riders taking their first steps toward foilkites, but also powerful enough for big-air kiters who want to keep popping in light winds.

Thanks to the use of four bridle levels with sheathed lines, the Mach1 is not only durable but also quick and easy to rig. The kite remains stable in turbulent air, delivers even pressure throughout the wind range and can be flown - depending on your needs - with 17 or 21 meter lines. Shorter lines make the Mach1 more playful and direct for hydrofoiling, while longer lines greatly increase jumping, gliding and cruising due to the extra power and projection.
