4MM WOMEN'S WETSUIT ZIPS

The wetsuits in our assortment have different zips. It is good to see what fits your personal preferences. Below you can read the different types.

A still popular model are the backzip 4mm ladies wetsuits. This is because you can put on the wetsuit relatively easily, there are price advantages and some have the modern waterblock integrated that keeps water out. The frontzip 4mm ladies wetsuits are also very popular. Flexibility and waterproofness are the two most important differentiators. There is also a new model on the market, namely the 4mm ladies wetsuits without zips (zipperless). This model is very lightweight, repels a lot of water and is very flexible.

SEAMS OF A 4MM LADIES WETSUIT

There are different kinds of seams within the 4mm ladies wetsuit, namely stitched and glued seams. A stitched connection ensures that the neoprene stays put together well by means of seams. A disadvantage of stitched seams is that they allow wind and water to penetrate more quickly. We strongly recommend the glued connection if you regularly go out on the water in cold weather. A disadvantage of the glued 4mm ladies wetsuits is that they are a lot more expensive than stitched seams.

THE NEOPRENE TYPES OF 4MM LADIES SURF SUITS 

You have wetsuits with single-lined or double-lined neoprene. Single-lined neoprene feels a lot heavier and less flexible compared to double-lined neoprene, but offers a lot of warmth. Double-lined neoprene is more flexible and less fragile, but is also less warm.
