Windsurfing buoyancy vests

Buoyancy vests are made to keep you above water if you fall. In addition, a flotation vest is ideal to use when you are water starting. This means you don't have to make an effort to keep your head above water and you will get tired less quickly. What distinguishes a flotation vest for windsurfing from a normal life jacket is that it is shorter. This allows you to easily wear your windsurf harness under the vest.

Windsurf impact vests

An impact vest is recommended for a safe session on the water. This vest absorbs hard blows and has a little buoyancy. As a result, the greatest impact of the fall is broken and you have less chance of injuries. With impact vests for windsurfers you will notice that the protection is on the chest and back, but that the material on the stomach and lower back is thin. This is designed so that you can easily wear your harness over your impact vest.
