Designed specifically for the Peter Lynn kites, this bar has been given a whole new redesign this year. This Compass bar is the replacement for the Navigator, Aviator and the magnet bar that PLKB had on the market last year. All in one, in other words. Are you looking for an awesome freeride kite that allows you to jump incredibly high? Check out the Hook V3-II from PLKB.
The Hook V3-II comes with the new Teijin Triple Ripstop fabric. This kite's secret to super performance is a huge depower range, higher flying speed and a super-stable kite in stormy conditions. Then you can go up a size and keep your lead longer. When you pull your bar, you should get a huge boost to shoot you straight into the air.
Best of all, you get a kite that is super comfortable to sail with a huge wind range. It is mega fast and playful due to its maneuverability and perfect for most conditions.
Each size has a unique design. In the bigger picture, the sizes under 10 meters are made for stronger winds, while the 10 meters and up are made for a little less wind, creating more elevator at lower speed. As an airplane, elevator is generated by wing profile and speed. Larger kites have less speed than smaller kites and therefore need a different wing profile and shape to get more lift.
The new Hook is a playful ride to cruise around, jump high and enjoy the view.
