The Point-7 carbon Pro Boom is a monocoque boom consisting of one piece. Point-7 has taken into account the curve of the boom with these booms. A person's anatomical posture has been taken into account in the design. The boom was developed using the Octatube, an eight-sided carbon tube shape designed to ergonomically fit the natural shape of the hand when gripping. This gives the boom a direct feel.
In addition, the diameter of the Point-7 carbon boom has also been taken into account. The diameter is a more important factor for comfort and not wasting unnecessary energy. The diameter varies according to the size of the boom:
