Tabou Footstrap
Windsurf footstrap
Footstraps come standard without screws and are delivered per 1. If all goes well, you still have the screws from your old straps. The Footstraps have 3 holes for the screws, some boards use only the middle one, others the outer 2. This is different for each board. Keep the plastic clips under the screws, you will need them for the new footstraps.
You can adjust the footstraps by means of Velcro. The adjustment of your footstraps is different for everyone. Speedsurfers often only want to put their front foot in the straps, whereas freestylers want their foot strap to reach the instep. You often see a kind of horsehoof pattern.
For a beginner windsurfer, set the straps a little wider so you can get into the straps easily, but make sure you can get out easily too, otherwise you'll be stuck in the footstraps in a crash.
