The Switch Team is playful during carving and benefits from the right amount of grip provided by the thinner rails, tuned flex and outline. The board feels predictable and familiar. At the same time the uni-directional basalt I-beam structure provides stiffness, pop and fast reflex which are the ingredients for freestyle tricks. Compared to the Switch, the Switch Team is more performance oriented and stiffer. If you don't do freestyle tricks and don't want a high performance board, the Airush Switch is a better option.
