Electric hip trapeze for Foil Assist system

The Duotone DTE eHarness Set offers an innovative way to optimally distribute weight and balance while foiling. Instead of mounting the batteries on the mast or board, the two Duotone Foil Assist batteries (2 x 1 kg) are securely placed in a waterproof box attached to a comfortable hip trapeze. This keeps the board-foil system perfectly balanced, providing a natural and controlled foil feel.

Unlike a backpack, where the weight rests on the shoulders and can upset the balance during turns or fast movements, the Duotone DTE eHarness Set distributes the weight over the hips. This keeps your upper body free to move and the harness feels barely there after a few minutes. With a total weight of about 3.76 kg (including box and batteries), this set combines comfort, safety and performance.

The connection between the battery box and the motor is via a cable that runs along a short leash from the box to the top plate of the mast. The board leash is attached to the harness under the cable port of the battery box. The remote control receiver is integrated into the lid of the box, ensuring a stable signal without interference from water.

The Duotone DTE eHarness Set is designed with a strong focus on safety and ease of use. The magnetic closure and neoprene strap make quick donning and doffing easy, while the adjustable buckle ensures a perfect fit. Underwater, the trapeze can be released with one motion. Thanks to the non-water absorbent material and built-in buoyancy, the harness stays afloat and won't pull you down. A zippered neoprene cover protects the battery box from opening under water pressure.
