For 2025, the design has been further refined with a continuous radial panel layout, where the panels run radially and cross seams have been eliminated. This ensures uniform load transfer and less stretch, providing instant feedback and higher structural stability. In addition, the luff curve has been updated with a more powerful profile in the boom zone, for more power and stability in high-pressure situations. The redesigned mid-leech release improves airflow, further increasing efficiency and top speed.

Furthermore, the batten configuration has been modified with optimized specs and a cross-batten concept, which ensures that the profile position remains constant even under extreme loads. These refinements result in a sail that is more responsive, exhibits minimal distortion and delivers exceptional performance.

The Gaastra Vapor Air 2025 is available in a range of sizes from 4.3 sq. ft. to 8.2 sq. ft., including the new 8.2 sq. ft. for lighter wind conditions. The smaller sizes (4.3 and 5.3) are compatible with RDM masts, while the larger sizes are sailed with SDM masts.
