The Sonar High Aspect Front Wing Series is designed for optimal speed and efficiency in a variety of disciplines, from kite foiling to Wing foil surfing. This foil requires minimal effort to create glide because of the short chord that defines the thin profile, which provides reduced drag. The span offers stability and a slightly larger turn radius compared to foils with a lower aspect ratio of the same size. Refined wingtips prevent ventilation when getting out of the water, allowing tighter turns at higher speeds without loss of speed. The smaller HA550 has less area for planing but higher stall speed. These wings are designed for maximum efficiency and lift in high-speed wing foiling, racing and kite foiling.
