The X-15 is ideal for slalom windsurf foiling. The X-15 flies fast and high. The drop shape from nose to tail minimizes drag and provides the most efficient aerodynamics. The side cutaways provide enough speed to get on the foil even before planing speed is generated. The flat deck minimizes wind flow. The latest change is the reduced volume in the tail, which means you don't have to put as much pressure on the tail to activate the foil. This results in a more relaxed elevator and comfortable stance.
