The Starboard IQFoil is the official board for the Olympic class of 2024. This IQFoil 85 version is aimed at juniors and ladies and basically has the same concept as the IQFoil 95, but with the necessary adjustments for lighter users.

With a width of 85cm, this board is more controllable by lighter and smaller users. Thanks to various inserts, you can determine your own stance and get the most out of the race. If the conditions are not favourable, you can easily swap the foil for a fin (or vice versa). Especially for fin sailing, the rail cutaway sizes have been reduced, which drastically improved performance. Furthermore, this IQFoil 85 is built in and Starlite construction. This makes it more precise and impact resistant compared to the Carbon Reflex construction.

As this board is used in the Olympic class, everyone has to sail the same. The women and juniors an 8.0m2 sail with 66 cm fin and the juniors the 6.0 setup. Should you move from juniors to youth, you have to buy a sail two m2 bigger and a new front wing.
