The Magic Move is a new board designed to bridge the gap between the freestyle wave and freeride classes. It is aimed at riders looking for a 90 to 110L sporty board that plans easily and quickly. The board offers an exhilarating ride, is fast and manoeuvrable and remains stable whether you are sailing on the open ocean or coastal waves and reefs. Werner Gnigler, the designer, praises the board's versatility and comfort, with guaranteed planing gybes and effortless planing. The idea for this board came about because of the need for a board suitable for lighter wind conditions and small waves. The Magic Move board is longer and wider compared to the Freestyle Wave line, and was designed by Werner Gnigler with the vision to adjust some parameters to achieve the desired improvements. The Magic Moves boards have a tapered rail shape with a distinctive step rail at the tail, providing optimum grip and stability in sharp turns and whitewater. They also have a flat scoop rocker line for early planing and high speed, and a double concave V-shape at the front as suspension in choppy water. The rail shape is decoupled from the central scoop rocker line, giving the boards an excellent mix of performance and manoeuvrability. They come with several footstrap options and a single fin Powerbox for customisability. The boards' Freestyle Wave fins provide plenty of drive, stability and manoeuvrability. Overall, the board outperforms Freestyle Wave and freeride boards in terms of planing, speed, gybes and flat turns. It is more versatile and lively, making it an enjoyable board.
