Loftsails Switchblade
Freerace sail
The Loftsails Switchblade is a sail with an impressive pedigree, characterised by long-lasting performance. This fast sail offers relentless acceleration and extended reach. The design, based on the Racingblade, has been converted to a more accessible freerace 3-cam profile. The sail features tubular sail bar systems for improved control and stability, typical of racing designs.
The Switchblade series has two construction options. The standard option includes 3.5 mil outer panels, a monofilm central window, and bi-ply top panels. The HD version uses the same outer panels but replaces the monofilm and bi-ply pan with 4 mil x-ply central window and 2 mil quad-axial top panels.
Tested as the first sail in its class on an RDM mast and praised in reviews, all Switchblade sizes (up to 7.8) come with both RDM and SDM TekCam II lugs.
Designed for speed and durability, the Switchblade remains a freerace powerhouse that delivers top performance for years to come.
