A lycra shirt has several advantages, such as a lycra protects against the UV radiation of the sun and it prevents chafing on your body from the harness. In addition, you burn even faster on the water than on the land. Therefore, wear a lycra shirt, so that you are perfectly protected against the sun and can surf on the water for hours. Lycras come in different shapes, sizes and awesome colors. All lycras at Telstar Surf have a UV label which can be recognized by the UPF 50+ quality mark.
Pay attention! A lycra shirt does not function as extra warmth under your wetsuit. Look for neoprene shirts for this.
