The Sonar High Aspect Front Wing Series is designed for optimal speed and efficiency in a variety of disciplines, from kite foiling to Wing foil surfing. This foil requires minimal effort to create glide because of the short chord that defines the thin profile, which provides reduced drag. The span offers stability and a slightly larger turn radius compared to foils with a lower aspect ratio of the same size. Refined wingtips prevent ventilation when getting out of the water, allowing tighter turns at higher speeds without loss of speed.

The HA850 to HA1250 wings are ideal for wing-foiling and prone surfing because of their excellent lift at high speeds. The larger HA1250 to HA1450 are suitable for dock starts, pumping to hook up wave after wave, coastal running, or surfing wakes. When downwinding, ocean swells move faster in open water and slower in shallow water or closer to shore. Moving faster through the water gives you more opportunities to choose a more efficient line. Smaller wings have less area to plane, resulting in less lift but higher stall speed. The HA series wings are designed for lighter and more experienced riders to foil in faster ocean swells.
