Overdrive M4
Freeslalom sail
The Overdrive M4 is one model below the Mach 4, meaning not a full slalom sail but really a sail based on speed.
In short, this sail is for the less experienced slalom sailors among us.
With its 7 battens and 3 cambers, you get a sail with a lot of stability and a very large wind range. It is incredibly light and easy to control. Really a super cool sail for beginning slalomers. The big difference between the Mach4 and the Overdrive M4 is that the mast slot is a lot smaller, giving you a lighter sail and less water storage. The boom length uis a lot shorter on most sails making it much easier to handle. And less back-hand pressure.
Features from the Overdrive M4:
- SLEEVE WIDTH: 33% NARROWER THAN MACH4 FOR LOWER WEIGHT AND LESS WATER RETENTION.
- BOOM LENGTH: APPROX. 10CM SHORTER ON MOST SIZES FOR LESS BACK-HAND PRESSURE.
