De Starboard Lima peddel heeft een holte aan de voorzijde van het blad, waardoor het water door het blad wordt geleid en de stroomsnelheid wordt verhoogt door deze holte. De rand die de concave definieert begint rond aan de punt van het blad om het water vlot te scheiden. Daarna wordt hij scherper om het water zijn weg te dicteren en het blad te stabiliseren.
Daarnaast heeft de Starboard Lima peddel een uniek smal en plat profiel, waardoor je het blad heel dicht tegen de rand van de rail van het board kunt trekken. Dat zorgt ervoor dat er een hele mooie lijn ontstaat. S35 is populair onder langere peddelaars. De diameter van de peddel is 29mm. Dit is de lichtste en meest veelzijdige peddel van Starboard en daarnaast de voorkeur voor allround peddelen en golven.
