As a starting windsurfer, you obviously want to be equipped with all the comforts. From a stable board to comfort, in which case you'll come across the Starboard Rio in Rhino construction. The perfect board for beginners, windsurfing schools and windsurfing camps.
The Starboard Rio is an incredibly stable board that beginners and families will be all too happy with. The board glides easily through the water and features a centre board. This will help you learn the basic principles of windsurfing. Over time, you can also progress to using footstraps. In addition, the Rio also features a soft EVA deck and a sturdy Rhino construction!
The Rio has a long tail design. This allows the board to transition easily and smoothly into planing without having to face technical difficulties. The long tail design also provides a better glide in low winds.
