Aurelio Verdi is the founder of AV-boards, the Italian surfer started designing windsurf boards in 1997. From a fascination with the surf life, he and his brother started windsurfing. Within a few years, AV-boards has grown into a full-fledged windsurfboard brand and Verdi has partnered with the likes of Cobra Ltd and Roberto Ricci. The collaboration with Ricci immediately took Verdi into a new world, the world of windsurfing. During this period Verdi was designing, learning from and supporting Ricci but was also fanatically windsurfing himself. Thanks to his perseverance and good connections within windsurfing, AV boards have become known worldwide. From Spain to Hawaii, a brand has emerged with a love for handcrafted windsurf board products.
