The Neilpryde V8 features 2 cambers, allowing the sail to maintain its profile and planes quickly, so you will be the first to planee even in light winds. Another advantage of these 2 intracams is that rigging the sail is significantly easier. When jibbing, the cambers rotate so easily that you hardly notice you are sailing with a cambered sail. Thanks to the double luff construction, there is less pressure on the horizontal seams and glued parts of the sail, making it even more durable. Unlike 4 camber sails, the V8 features a reduced mast trunk which allows for better water drainage and makes it easier to get the sail out of the water.
The V8 is a perfectly balanced sail making it easier to control in extreme conditions. In short; the V8 means slalom with all the advantages without the disadvantages of 4 cam sails.
